Dear Families,
We have arrived in Cuernavaca after a 12 hour journey - 5 hour flight and a 3 hour bus ride (due to traffic and road work). The girls were great, even breaking into song near the end of the journey - granted we need a wee bit more practice. Upon arrival, we were greeted with hugs and taken away
to our homestays.
This morning, we are sitting in a beautiful courtyard at Encuentros having our initial orientation. As soon as our teachers arrive, we will be off to a day downtown - that includes the Zocalo, the Cathedral, and the Brady Museum.
All is well, the girls all look rested and excited. Tune in tomorrow for our first set of pictures and the next update.
